Key Points for DMA Hardware Installation and Testing of the 75T FPGA DMA Card

1. Hardware Installation:

  • The device has three main ports: the top is for communication, the bottom is for flashing firmware, and the middle is the power switch.
  • Installing the heatsink: First, install the bracket and ensure alignment. Then, remove the plastic film from the thermal pad and apply it to the 75T FPGA chip. When installing the heatsink, make sure it is properly aligned and inserted, with the fan wire connected from the bottom left to the power output.
  • Insert the 75T FPGA DMA card into any PCI X1 or higher slot (X4, X8, X16 are all compatible). Make sure the computer is powered off and unplugged.
  • Ensure the USB connection is at least USB 3.0 to guarantee stable data transfer speeds.

2. Software Setup:

  • On the second computer connected to the 75T FPGA DMA card, connect the DMA card via USB and disable Windows real-time protection and other security features.
  • Download the appropriate 75T FPGA DMA card software package from the website and extract it to the desktop.
  • Use Defender Controller to disable Windows Defender, avoiding software interference during installation.
  • Apply the DL patch: Drag the patch files into the Windows folder, ensuring no existing files are replaced, only adding new ones.
  • Install the 75T FPGA DMA card drivers, and check in Device Manager that the FD 601 device is working properly. If the device does not appear or shows a warning, manually install the driver or resolve the issue by restarting the system or the main machine.

3. Testing and Troubleshooting:

  • Run a DMA card test to ensure data transfer speeds are normal and that the 75T FPGA DMA card is performing as expected.
  • If issues arise, they can usually be resolved by restarting the device, checking the USB cable, or power cycling the main machine.
  • Additional tools such as the visual issue fix tool and firmware flashing tool are provided to assist with further troubleshooting.

4. Security Restoration:

  • Once the setup is complete, re-enable Windows Defender and delete the Defender Controller software to ensure system security.
